Jordin Sparks was born Jordin Briana Sparks on December 22. She found fame when she won the sixth season of American Idol and is now an American actress, model and pop/R&B singer. She is the youngest contest to win the American Idol title and she soon after released her first self-titled album in 2007, the album went on to sell well over 2 million albums worldwide. Sparks album’s success was recognized by the music industry, and she was dominated for several awards and nominations by American Music Awards and the Grammy’s.

Sparks quickly began her acting career and began making guest appearances on successful shows starting with The Suite Life On Deck. In the Summer of 2009, Sparks released her second album Battlefield and the album was instantly a smash hit. The album Battlefield went on to sell close to 2 million albums worldwide, and she released five successful top ten singles from the album, Sparks played in a popular Broadway musical called The Heights and she was also offered and accepted a rule in her first film called Sparkles. Jordin Sparks is now one of the most successful and popular American Idol winners and is admired and loved by fans all over the world.
